Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker officially threw his hat in the presidential ring in July of 2015. In his typical egotistical, grandiose fashion, Walker declared: "Americans deserve a President who will fight and win for them… You see, It doesn't matter if you're from a big city, a suburb or a small town, I will fight and win for you. Healthy or sick, born, or unborn, I will fight and win for you. Young or old — or somewhere in between — I will fight and win for you." -Business Insider

What a man of the people! Imagine that – Scott Walker is fighting for the underprivileged and disadvantaged citizens of America!

Here’s the thing that I find most stupefying about Walker supporters and TEA Party members: they complain about their high property taxes and whine that they are “Taxed Enough Already”, yet they continue to support a guy who gives huge tax breaks to corporations and the uber-wealthy while shifting the oppressive weight of the tax burden onto the poorest elements of the society – i.e. the middle and lower class. And the most perplexing thing about this is that they don’t even seem to even recognize the incongruity and absurdity of their position.

Conservative Republicans want to do away with social safety nets like Welfare and Social Security, yet they seem to have no qualms about giving welfare to the greedy corporations and wealthy billionaires. And when I challenge them on this point I receive only blank stares and mute silence.

GREETINGS fellow Wississippians! How are ya’ll faring in Scott Walker’s “austerity economy”?  It’s been four years since the sheeple re-elected this psychopath into office, and it would appear that the once great progressive state of Wisconsin has been utterly reduced to an impoverished backwater of a state now known as Wississippi (or perhaps Wussissippi is more appropriate?) How did we get here? How could we allow this happen?

In this essay we will examine Scott Walker’s record, the results of his policies and practices, and the Republican  agenda in general, in order to determine how Wisconsin, er, excuse me, I meant to say how Wississippi has fared under Walker’s regime.
