Quantum physics has suggested that the structure of the Universe is holographic in nature. Numerous studies by scientists such as Wilder Penfield, Karl Lashley and Karl Pribram have even suggested that memory and the perceptive functions of the brain are also holographic in nature. The basic building block of the universe appears to be consciousness, not “matter”. If this is true, then one might ask—what role does the brain play in the construction of “reality” and daily experience? “If the holographic model of the brain is taken to its logical conclusion, it opens the door on the possibility that even ‘objective reality’, the world of objects around us, might not exist in the way we believe it exists. It seems likely that what is really ‘out there’ is a vast resonating symphony of waveforms that comprise a frequency domain that is transformed into what is perceived only after it enters the brain.” -
“The brain operates as a complex frequency analyzer... The holographic model implies that our perceptions are merely an illusion. If we are perceiving an interference pattern, what is the true nature of thing we are perceiving?” -
"Our brains mathematically construct 'concrete' reality by interpreting frequencies from another dimension, a realm of meaningful, patterned primary reality that transcends time and space. The brain is a hologram, interpreting a holographic universe." -
This is an intriguing notion, that beyond the perceptual filters of the brain and nervous system the universe is in reality a vast "frequency domain" of energetic, interactive waveforms. Einstein suggested that what we perceive as solid matter is in reality only energy oscillating at various frequencies. Our entire 3D universe can be viewed as merely one small cross-
“In the late 1800's James Maxwell formulated what today is still considered the bedrock of our understanding of electro-
If all this is true, then why is our current perception and experience so limited? Why are we so bound to the 3D matrix and its narrow frequency range? Is our perception biologically hard-
“Our Newtonian world of solid concrete objects is surrounded and permeated by a fluid world of radiating energy. It is constantly moving and changing; an ocean of dancing, spinning, flashing particles of light, energy, and information. Our linear way of thinking, seeing, and expressing needs to expand to accommodate this new reality.
“It is time for a new paradigm, or model, of science, reality, and consciousness. It is time to bridge the gaps between science and alternate science, physics and metaphysics, and the external scientific experiment and the inner personal experience. This may well begin with the unification of the concepts of mind, energy, and consciousness…
“Wholistic, or holistic, awareness remains beyond linear time and three dimensional space, and therefore is not easily recognized. We must practice this wholistic experience in order to recognize it. Our language, and our old ideas or paradigms, still limit our growth. Meditation and many other practices… are ways of transcending the limitations of the linear mind in order to experience the multidimensionality of interconnectedness, and to experience our oneness with the universal energy, the unified field, or consciousness.” -
“Orthodox science doesn’t really seek truth about Nature. It seeks internal self-
