On March 11, 2011 Governor Walker signed into law a bill which strips public workers of their right to collectively bargain. He did this as a preliminary step in the state’s “austerity program”. As of 3:00 p.m. on March 12, the number of people at the state capitol swelled to more than 150,000 to protest the the corporate shill’s corporate-sponsored "budget repair" bill, which is in reality a thinly-disguised attempt to dis-empower the working people and the Labor Unions. “The Fab 14 were in attendance, the returning state senators who had been in Illinois to give the people time to illuminate some of the nightmare that Walker and his puppetmasters have wrought for the state.”

It is all too obvious that Scotty Walker and his puppetmasters the Koch brothers do not have Wisconsin's best interests at heart. It fact, just the opposite is true—Gov. Walker's budget bill includes a provision to make selling off state-owned power utilities easier. And guess who has first dibs? The Walker bill is paving the way for Koch Industries to buy up Wisconsin state assets without any bids, thus privatizing these utilities under a corporate monopoly.

“The Koch Brothers placed their puppet Walker into power… According to Wisconsin campaign finance filings, Walker's gubernatorial campaign received $43,000 from the Koch Industries PAC during the 2010 election. That donation was his campaign's second-highest, behind $43,125 in contributions from housing and realtor groups in Wisconsin.

“The Koch's PAC also helped Walker via a familiar and much-used politicial maneuver designed to allow donors to skirt campaign finance limits. The PAC gave $1 million to the Republican Governors Association, which in turn spent $65,000 on independent expenditures to support Walker. The RGA also spent a whopping $3.4 million on TV ads and mailers attacking Walker's opponent, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Walker ended up beating Barrett by 5 points. The Koch money, no doubt, helped greatly.

“Thanks to Kochs' poodles on the Supreme Court, this sort of activity is now legal. Poor Tom DeLay—bet he feels stupid for bribing the wrong people. Anyway, through the use of propaganda and corporate influence, the Kochs' money got their pigeon into the Governor's office…

“Governor Walker has intentionally muddied the waters concerning unions hoping no one will see the wholesale give-a-way of the state-owned public infrastructure to private interests. Not only that, they are trying to redefine "public interest"! Who gets to decide? Not the public, Governor Walker, by fiat!…

“With an ownership of resources, distribution and generation of energy, the Koch Brothers will have a vertical monopoly that would make even Rockefeller blush! And just imagine the profits! Their investment in Walker is gonna pay out big time—which was the plan all along. Now we know the end game, who is going to block it?” -What Wisconsins "budget repair bill" is really about

Remember—your right to protest and free speech is a fundamental, inalienable right of every sovereign human being, guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States and Bill of Rights. A “zone” is neither required nor necessary for its expression. Stand with Wisconsin against corporate tyranny and outrageous government fascism. Never give up the fight!
